Every year, school nurses from all over the country make their way to the annual conference held by the National Association of School Nurses.  This year, the NASN 45th Annual Conference was held in beautiful Orlando, FL - right in the heart of Walt Disney World.  The conference offers nurses a chance to continue their education at a low cost, provides great networking opportunities, and also allows for a little bit of fun!

As a vendor attending the conference, School Nurse Supply was excited for the chance to reach out to and enjoy the company of school nurses from New York to California and everywhere in between.  Some of our top customer service reps were delighted to be on hand and had a lot to say about the the conference...

"What a beautiful and sunny location for this year’s NASN conference.  I think the biggest news of the conference was that the endowment fund hit their million dollar goal this year with School Nurse Supply being recognized as a Gold Rush Donor.  The fund was originally set up and dedicated to improving the health and educational success of children and youth by the advancement of school nursing practice through research, grants for school-affiliated delivery of healthcare and scholarships for school nurses seeking advanced education in the field of nursing.  Beyond that, the show was a success with School Nurse Supply raffling off an iPad to one lucky winner.  Participants received a $10 gift card just for signing up.  The lucky winner was Kristin Beers from Fayette County, KY."

"NASN was a good time had by all.  We had on the spot demos of the Plusoptix Vision Screener, as well as many featured products from the catalog for attendees to take a look at, try out and learn to use.  Even some nurses from outside the U.S. had a chance to talk with the sales representatives from School Nurse Supply and find out more about what we have to offer.  It was a great two days of talking to and getting to know our customers, letting them know all about what we can do to help them throughout the busy school year.   Thanks to everyone that made the NASN 2013 Conference such a success!"
